1. Finely slice the kale leaves
2. Heat the oil on a high heat in a wok, add 1/4 of the kale and deep-fry until crispy (approx 2 min), remove with slotted spoon and place on kitchen paper. Repeat until all the kale has been fried.
3. Discard excess oil and return kale to wok, sprinkle with Chinese Five Spice, sugar and salt. Toss well and serve.
