Description
Savoy cabbage and carrots, Indian style
Ingredients
- 350g savoy cabbage, thinly sliced
- 350g carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 green chilli, sliced into thin strips
- 4 tablespoon light oil such sunflower
- 1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
- 1 dried red chilli
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 4 tablespoon fresh corriander, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Heat oil in a wide frying pan. Add mustard seeds and dried red chilli. Stri till seeds pop, add cabbage, carrots and green chilli. Stir and mix. Add salt, sugar and green corriander. Stir and cook for 5 minutes, till done but still crunchy. Stir lemon juice, checking seasoning and serve.
