Grilled Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 450g brussels sprouts, as uniform in size as possible
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 10g garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Remove the stem end of the sprouts and any yellowing outer leaves
- Heat on high in microwave for 3 minutes
- Add olive oil, garlic, mustard, paprika and salt, mix and allow to cool a bit
- Skewer 4-5 sprouts onto a metal skewer, leaving 1cm space between and facing the same direction
- Place skewers onto a medium heated grill with stem end closest to flame, cover and cook for 5 minutes
- Turn and cook for another 5 minutes and serve
