Description
A quick preperation for green beans with maximum flavour. Pairs great with grilled steak.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salted butter
- 500 g green beans, trimmed
- toasted sesame seeds to garnish
- spring onions to garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the green beans and toss to coat. Cook, undisturbed, until the green beans are beginning to brown and blister in spots, 2 to 3 minutes. Toss and continue cooking, tossing occasionally, until the green beans are tender and browned, 5 to 7 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onion greens
Notes
This is an easy recipe to make on the bbq, but can be made on the stove top too.
