Grilled Tofu Wraps

Grilled Tofu Wraps


  • 1 block firm tofu, marinated
  • ¼ cup soy sauce, plus 2 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 butter lettuce
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1 cup red cabbage, sliced thin
  • ¼ red onion, sliced thin
  • 6 radishes, matchsticked
  • 2 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • ½ lime, juice only
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 habanero pepper, minced very finely - optional
  • sliced kimchi
  • bean sprouts
  • coriander
  • basil
  • mint


Mix together soy sauce (2T), mirin, fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, habanero to make the dressing
Mix all the veggies together
Pour the dressing over the veggies and stir together. Let it sit together for a few minutes to let the flavours blend.
Slice the tofu in 3 even sized blocks. Press the blocks with paper towel to abosrb some of the liquid. Drizzle the blocks with soy sauce (2T) and sesame oil. Cook for 5 minutes per side on a very hot grill to sear. Slice into sticks.
To assemble the wraps, use 2 pieces of lettuce per wrap, scoop in some salad, pile some tofu slices and top with your chosen toppings: kimchi, bean sprouts, coriander, basil, mint
